About This Class
Also known as our BSIS & Fire Marshal Integrated Crowd Control Management training. Large crowds bring their own set of risks — bottlenecks, panic, and conflict can escalate fast if a guard isn't positioned and prepared correctly.
This 4-hour elective course covers crowd management techniques for events, venues, and other high-traffic environments. This course is approved by the California State Fire Marshal as part of the Crowd Control Manager certification in Sacramento.

Who Should Take This Course
This course counts toward your 16 hours of Elective training, due within 6 months of your guard card being issued. It's built for:
- Licensed security guards who need to complete their Elective training hours
- Proprietary private security officers (PSOs) completing their required training hours
- Anyone working events, venues, or other high-traffic sites where crowd management is part of the job
Requirements
No prior experience is required. You'll need a valid photo ID and your BSIS guard card or proof of application. Please arrive a few minutes early — late arrivals may not be able to receive credit for the full session.
